Dt 10.05.2010. First Circle Conference of SNATTA, Calcutta Telecom District and West Bengal Telecom Circle will be held at Victoria Memorial Campus on 16.05.2010. at 02.30 PM. Dt 05.05.2010. 2nd Wage Revision Agreement in BSNL has been approved by Hon. MOC (IT). Orders from BSNL will soon follow.

Shri A.K. Shrivastava, GM (Admin), UP (E), writes to GM(ADMN.) Corporate Office, to grant 2 years relaxation in the qualifying service condition in the JTO LICE 35% and 15% quota.

BSNL management put on hold the conduct of Management Trainee (MT) exam due to the matter being sub-judice. It is learnt that 15 different court cases have been filed in various circles regarding the MT exam and thus management is now unable to conduct the exam. The MT RR was first formulated in the year 2006-07. Since then no exam has been conducted due to strikes and court cases by various associations.

A grand welcome meeting for the DRTTAs of the Batch 2009 was arranged by the DRTTAs of 2002 & 2008 batch in the ARAM Hotel at Jamnagar, Gujarat. The newest TTAs were very warmly greeted. Shri Dharmendra Verma G.S. SNATTA apprised them of the developments in SNATTA and in BSNL. Shri Arif Sidiki, D.P. SNATTA, Jamnagar also gave very clear ideas of the issues pertaining to the DRTTAs. The understanding of the present situation in BSNL by these DRTTAs was appreciated by everyone. The meeting ended with a very delicious dinner and all the DRTTAs present unequivocally vowed to strengthen SNATTA and resist the forces / miscreants trying to harm the unity of SNATTA by creating groups within a group.

On the request of Dr. Reeta Bahuguna Joshi, Hon. President UP Pradesh Congress committee, Shri Sachin Pilot, Honourable Minister of State for Communication & Information Technology met SNATTA representatives Mr. S.K. Pathak, Ex. CP, UP(E) Circle, Mr. K.M. Nag, Mr. Arun Shah, CP, Mr. Rakesh Tiwari, DS Gonda SSA. SNATTA representatives presented a memorandum on the issue of qualifying service reduction in the JTO RR 2001 to the Hon. Minister. The Honourable minister promised to do the needful things and asked our representatives to be in contact with him.

A delegation of SNATTA met Shri. Rahul Gandhi, Hon. M.P. from Amethi and General Secretary, All India Congress Committee regarding reducing the qualifying service condition under JTO RR 2001 from 7 years to 5 years. Shri Rahul Gandhi assured the delegation of full cooperation. A memorandum was submitted by the SNATTA delegation.
